Beginning & Ending Narrations (Voice-overs)

[Narrator] "Security code accepted. Welcome to OSI Database File: Air America. Operations Key Personnel. Rio Arnett, Chief of Operations using small aircraft service as cover. Wiley Farrell, deputy based chief of coast of Brigita airfield. Allison Strat, Manager of Hotel Parador. Edward Furman, Department of State official. Mission: Execute special operations. Code Name: Air America. [Motto: Anything, Anywhere, Anytime."]

[Voice of Jennifer Garner] "My name is Sydney Bristow. Seven years ago I was recruited by a secret branch of the CIA called SD-6. I was sworn to secrecy but I couldn't keep if from my fiancé. And when the head of SD-6 found out...he had him killed. That's when I learned the truth. Sd-6 is not part of the CIA. I'd been working for the very people I thought I was fighting against. So I went to the only place that could help me take them down. Now, I'm a double agent for the CIA where my handler is a man named Michael Vaughn. Only one other person knows the truth about what I do. Another double agent inside SD-6. Some one I hardly father."

[Narrator] "Extraordinary crimes against the people and the state had to be avenged by agents extraordinary. Two such people are John Steed, top professional, and his partner, Emma Peel, talented amateur. Otherwise known as The Avengers." (Voice of Patrick Macnee as John Steed) "We're needed, Mrs. Peel!"

[Narrator] "Craig Stirling, Sharon Macready and Richard Barrett...THE CHAMPIONS. Endowed with the qualities and skills of super-humans. Qualities and skills both physical and mental to the peak of human performance. Gifts given to them by an unknown race of people from a lost city in Tibet. Gifts that are a secret to be closely guarded. A secret that enables them to use their powers to their best advantage as champions of law, order and justice. Operators of the international agency of Nemesis (based in Geneva, Switzerland)"

[Narrator] "This is the fantastically 'True Story' of Herbert A. Philbrick, who for nine frightening years did lead three lives: average citizen, member of the Communist Party, and counterspy for the FBI. For obvious reasons the names, dates and places have been changed, but the story is based on fact."

[Voice of Peta Wilson as Nikita] "I was falsely accused of a hideous crime and sentenced to life in prison. One night I was taken from my cell to a place called Section One, the most covert anti-terrorist group on the planet. Their ends are just, but their means are ruthless. If I don't play by their rules, I die."

Script dialog from the very first episode:

We see Nikita talking to other street kids and then running down the street with them. Nikita hears a man's cry and turns her head to see a bald man who has just killed a police officer. The bald man leaps up and slams her against the wall and they struggle - she screams but you don't hear the sounds - suddenly, the man withdraws leaving her with the bloody knife in her hands. She backs away, terrified, but you hear sirens and she finds herself surrounded by police officers. She raises her hands and drops the knife.

Voice over of judge:

You have been found guilty of murder in the first degree. I'm sentencing you to life in prison. (Shot of Nikita in police car)

Flash back to Nikita in the white room, being injected with something.

Flash back to Nikita behind bars in prison, screaming "Noooooo! I didn't kill anyone!"

Flash back to hands loosening Nikita's restraints in the White Room. Close-up of Michael's lips.

Good morning.

Nikita springs off the table like a wild animal and backs up to the wall.

Michael:  I'm not going to hurt you.
Nikita: What is this? (extremely wary, whispering)
Michael: You're not in prison anymore. The world thinks you're dead. Suicide. This is your funeral. (He hands her a photograph) Row 8, plot 30
Nikita: My momma…didn't come? (starting to cry, she clutches the photograph to her chest. Michael stalks around the room in the usual Michael-like manner as Nikita slides to a sitting position)
Michael: We've decided to give you another chance. This is where you'll train. This is where you'll learn. After two years, if everything goes well, you'll work for us.
Nikita: Why me?
Michael: A woman with your looks, who can kill in cold blood…
Nikita: I didn't, I didn't, I didn't kill anyone! (stands up again, back against the wall. Michael goes to leave but she attacks him from behind. He neatly flips her back onto the floor and leans over her.)
Michael: When you attack someone from behind, go for the kidneys. It disables and they can't fight back.
Nikita: I don't want - I don't want lessons!

(Michael gets up)

Michael: We start tomorrow at 5 a.m.
Nikita: (still lying on her back) And if I don't want to?
Michael: (points at her) Row 8, plot 30. (He leaves)

(Introduction for the first several episodes)

[The scene opens with a shot of the  New York City skyline from the East River, showing the United Nations building.  Then the scene cuts to storefronts and brownstone apartments. Solo and Kuryakin enter Del Floria's tailor shop located just below street level.]

Narrator: In New York City on a streets in the East Forties there's an ordinary tailor shop...or is it ordinary?

[Sound of a steam press]. We enter through the agents' entrance and we are now in U-N-C-L-E headquarters. That's The United Network Command for Law and Enforcement.

U.N.C.L.E. is  an organization consisting of agents of all nationalities. It's involved in maintaining political and legal order anywhere in the world.

Solo: [Radio chatter] My name is Napoleon Solo. I'm enforcement agent in Section 2 here. That's Operations and Enforcement.
Kuryakin I am Illya Kuryakin, I am also an enforcement agent. Like my friend Napoleon, I go and do whatever I am told  to do by our chief.

What, Oh, yes. I'm Alexander Waverly, No. 1. Section One. In charge of this, our New York headquarters. It is from here I send these young men on their various missions.

[Narrator] "Peter Murphy, American secret agent marked for death, meets a bizarre destiny. As his pursuers close in he comes face to face with his exact double, multimillionaire Mark Wainwright. The millionaire takes the bullet meant for the spy and Murphy finds the perfect cover. He steps into the shoes and life of the man with his face and Peter Murphy, now alias Mark Wainwright, becomes...THE MAN WHO NEVER WAS."

[At the beginning of each episode Steven Hill as agent Daniel Briggs (and later Peter Graves as Jim Phelps) travel to some remote rendezvous point with a packet of information, an FYEO (For Your Ears/Eyes Only) taped message and photographs. The following text is taken from episode No. 155: "TOD-5" formerly "The Carrier" Aired 10/14/72]

[Tape recorder clicks on] "Good Morning, Mr. Phelps...this man, Paul Morse is a government scientist who intends to sell a top-secret biological weapon called TOD-5 to a terrorist ring called the Alpha Group. We believe the Alpha Group intends to use chemical and biological weapons to terrorize the nation in its bid for power within the next few days. Ex-intelligence officer, Gordon Holt is the Alpha's contact with Morse and the one man who can lead us to Alpha Headquarters. Conventional law enforcement agencies have not been able to locate the Alpha Group. Your mission should you choose to accept it, is to find the Alpha Group and destroy their bio-warfare operation. As always, if any of your IM Force be caught or killed, the secretary will disavow any knowledge of them. This tape will self destruct in five seconds. Good luck, Jim..." [SIZZLE...BOOM! as tape self destructs]"

[Bob Johnson provided the voice on the tape].

[Voice of Bruce Greenwood] "My name is Thomas Veil, at least I thought it was. I'm a photographer. I had it all: a wife, Allison, friends, a career. And in one moment it was taken away-all because of a single photograph. I have it; they want it; and they will do anything to get the negative. I'm keeping this diary as proof that these events are real.... I know they are; they have to be. I find myself fifteen hundred miles away from where my start began when I sat in a county mental hospital...wearing a straight jacket...facing Doctor Bellamy. It's hard to say where I'm headed..."
