Miami
Vice Boats -
Sleek, high speed boats used by drug enforcement agents on the
police drama MIAMI VICE/NBC/1984-89. Detective James "Sonny"
Crockett and his partner Detective Ricardo "Rico Tubbs" often used
these boats to hunt down the bad guys for the Miami Police Department.
During the first season (and pilot) Crockett and Tubbs used
a
39 foot Christ Craft Stinger. For the rest of the series, a 38 foot Wellcraft
Scarab KV (equipped with two 8.2 Mercury engines) was used.
The
Stinger (or Wellcraft) was moored next to Sonny Crockett's sailboat called the
"St.Vitus Dance."
