THE ED SULLIVAN SHOW in the late 1950s, his wiggling lower torso was censored by
CBS because they thought his movements too sexually suggestive. Presley,
however, had already appeared full frame on the 1/28/56 segment of Tommy and
Jimmy Dorsey's STAGE SHOW/CBS/1954-56 as well as on THE STEVE ALLEN
SHOW/NBC/1956-61 and THE MILTON BERLE SHOW/NBC/ CBS/1948-59.
