MSTies - Nickname of the fans of the Peabody
Award-winning series MYSTERY SCIENCE THEATER 3000/COM/SCI/1989-99 which
lampooned "B" grade movies with the help of Joel Robinson (Joel Hodgson) and his robot pals Tom Servo & Crow who sat silhouetted
at the bottom of the scene during each movie.
MST stands for Mystery Science Theater, and 3K is the abbreviation for 3000.
Fans of MST3K refer to themselves as MSTies (pronounced MIS-teez) as well as
MiSTies, Misties, Mysties and Mistees. See also
