Paramount Mountain - The corporate symbol of
Paramount Studios seen at the beginning and ending of numerous motion
pictures and television series.
The Paramount symbol (a snow-capped mountain, surrounded by a halo of stars)
was based on a mountain located in the Wasatch Range in the state of Utah,
(the home state of W.W. Hodkinson, a business executive who founded
Paramount Studios).
The Paramount Studios wrought iron side-gate (immortalized in the 1950 movie
Sunset Boulevard) is located at the corner of Bronson Avenue & Marathon
Street.
