The
Whacko's from Waco (Texas)
(Lyrics by Jerome
A. Holst, © 2007)
|
Chorus |
We're The Whacko's from
Waco
We're The Whacko's from Waco
We're The Whacko's from Waco, Waco, Texas |
|
Verse |
I'm Pete, I'm Zeb and I'm
Clyde
Our family's known far and wide
Trouble follows us like a plague
Mess with us, you wind up dead |
| |
Repeat Chorus |
|
Verse |
Don't ever try to figure
us out
Just step aside, shut your mouth
The three of us are way-out, son
And did I mention?...we got guns |
| |
Repeat Chorus |
|
Bridge |
Yeah, you get the point
We're zoinked, We're Boinked
We're Crazy, Zany
Totally Unexplainy
So when we come to town
Brother, you don't want to be around |
| |
Repeat Chorus |
|
Verse |
Don't ever try to figure
us out
Just step aside, shut your mouth
The three of us are way-out, son
And did I mention?...we got guns |
| |
Repeat Chorus
Yeah, that's right
Repeat Chorus |
|
Note:
Inspiration for this song came about when I drove
through the town of Waco, Ohio. It made me think of
Waco, Texas. Then the phrase "The Whacko's." I decided
it was a great name for a family of troublemaking
gunfighters and voila!...a song was born. |
