"Chicken Little" - Secret crime syndicate code word
accidentally overheard by accountant, Buddy Overstreet (Jack
Sheldon) on the sitcom RUN, BUDDY, RUN!/CBS/1966-67.
Chicken Little was the code phrase for a mob contract hit. When the
mob discovered Buddy had overheard their plans (while in a Turkish
Bath) they put a "contract" on him - causing Buddy to run for his
life.
Luckily, for Buddy, his particular contract was managed by a
bungling Junior member of the syndicate, (Jim Connell) who never did
quite catch Buddy for the length of this short-lived series.
